DAN George is predicting a high-scoring encounter when Chinnor visit Rosslyn Park tomorrow.

The Thame-based side travel to south-west London, bidding to make it back-to-back wins in National League 1.

Chinnor will have to adjust to the home side’s artificial surface and head coach George knows they need to be on form to beat second-placed Park.

He said: “Rosslyn Park play a very good brand of rugby, particularly on the 4G they have there.

“It’s going to be a tough ask and I imagine it will be quite a high-scoring game, so I think the team that defends the best will come out on top.”

He added: “I just think we have to prepare to play faster.

“It’s interesting because they’re used to playing on it - the speed you can generate off the surface and how differently the ball bounces.

“It’s going to be an interesting challenge, but one I’m sure the boys are really looking forward to.”

The RFU are still deciding the length of lock Ben Thomas’s ban after he was red-carded against Canterbury on Saturday, while scrum half Callum Watson should return after supporting his brother, England star Anthony, in the World Cup final in Japan.

Carl Kirwan and prop Tom Fidler could feature and Chris Elder should stay at inside centre after scoring his third try of the season last week.

Head coach Luke Allen makes three changes to his starting line-up as Henley Hawks aim to strengthen their grip on second place in National League 2 South at home to Clifton.

Liam O’Neill returns in place of the injured Murray Bellis, while Alex Burrage and Charlie Hughes come in for Connor Morrison and Rory Mason.

There are also three changes to the Oxford Harlequins side as they entertain Buckingham in South West 1 East.

Rhys Painton, Freddie Myatt and Charlie Williams all return.

An unchanged Witney side will aim to maintain their 100 per cent start when they return to Southern Counties North action at Reading Abbey.

Grove are also hoping to continue their perfect record at home to Swindon in Southern Counties South, with Joe Bellinger making his first start of the season and Ali McCarthy, Tom Clipsham and Ben Lloyd Jones all returning.
