CHINNOR will know what to expect in the Forest of Dean tomorrow, but Matt Williams is aware that does not make his side’s task any easier.

The Thame-based club face fellow newly-promoted outfit Cinderford in National League 1’s top-of-the-table clash.

It is almost a carbon copy of the fixture just under a year ago when two points separated the sides in the division below.

Chinnor, whose unbeaten start ended last weekend, came out on top that day and director of rugby Williams is calling on his second-placed side to front up.

He said: “We know exactly what we’re going to get.

“I’ve said before they would be one of the best packs in National 1 and they’re proving that already.

“They will come at us with a very abrasive style of rugby and we’ve got to be willing to stand up to the collisions.”

Chinnor make eight changes, one positional, with Caolan Ryan, Josh Barton, Dan George, Nick Bingham, Ben Thomas, Ben Manning and Will Bordill returning.

Joe Dancer moves to the second row.

Henley Hawks field a near new-look backline for their trip to Old Redcliffians in National League 2 South.

The south Oxfordshire side will be looking to avoid a third straight defeat when they travel to Bristol.

Finn Pietersen, Sam Portland, George Wood, George Griffiths and Leo Webb are handed starts, with Roddy Giles moving to fly half.

In South West 1 East, Witney target their first win when they host Chippenham.

Ben Fisk comes into the side after scoring two tries for the second XV, while hooker Adam Copperwheat returns.

Oxford Harlequins bid to make it four wins in a row at Trowbridge.

Joe Hazelhurst, Yann Sterckx and Max Valevou are handed starts.

Chris Davies moves to tight head, Freddie Myatt switches to blindside flanker and captain James Stacey takes over at fly half.

Banbury bid to return to winning ways when they host Newbury Blues.

In Southern Counties South, three brothers all start as Grove take on Swindon College Old Boys.

Guy and Ben Nicholl are joined by 18-year-old Ollie, who makes his debut at scrum half.
