VALE of White Horse Schools Under 13s added the Oxford United Cup to their trophy haul as they beat Southampton 4-2 in the final.
Chinoso Ochodor’s first-half hat-trick put the Oxfordshire teenagers on course for victory at AFC Totton’s Snows Stadium, with Riley Morgan heading home after the break.
It was a glittering end to a successful season for the Vale, who won the Meeson Trophy earlier in the campaign.

Ochodor gave the visitors the perfect start in Hampshire, heading Lonnie Gallagher’s free-kick into the net before quickly adding a second following a mazy run.
Southampton reduced the arrears after 20 minutes, only for Vale’s star man to restore the two-goal lead late in the half.
With less than 60 seconds until the break, Ochodor set off on another run and beat three defenders before firing home to make it 3-1.
Southampton hit back with a goal in the first minute of the second half and they enjoyed a spell of pressure.
But Vale once again made a set-piece count as Morgan got his head to Cooper Tull’s free-kick.
There was late controversy when Oliver Izzo was pulled back inside the penalty area, with the linesman flagging for a penalty and the referee waving play on due to the forward getting a shot away.
Thankfully for Vale, it did not affect the result.
