LEON Chambers-Parillon is set to feature in Oxford United Under 21s’ trip to Thame United tonight.
The 19-year-old has not played since the first-team’s friendly against Salford City on July 17 because of an ankle injury, but could return for tonight’s game (7.45pm).
If Chambers-Parillon does play, he will be joined by Slavi Spasov as the striker continues his recovery from knee surgery.
The Bulgarian youth international was a second-half substitute in the first-team’s ‘double header’ against Peterborough United last Wednesday and played 90 minutes as United’s Under 19s beat Brighton & Hove Albion 2-1 on Saturday.
The U’s youngsters made it four pre-season wins in five matches as they fought back from 1-0 down against the Premier League club.
United went behind in the first half, before Elijah Coe equalised with a smart finish after the visitors had pressed Brighton into a mistake.
A Will Owens cross-shot after the break secured victory.
