SHREWSBURY Town manager Steve Cotterill is braced to return to the dugout for this weekend’s game against Oxford United.
Cotterill has been ill with Covid-19, spending around 50 days in hospital over two spells, including a weekend in ICU.
It is four months since his last game in person, a 1-0 win against Blackpool in December.

Since then, he has missed 24 games, instead aiding his side from his hospital bed or at home.
The Shropshire Star reports that the club is hopeful he can make his return for the game against Karl Robinson’s side.
Shrewsbury confirmed their place in Sky Bet League One with a 1-0 win last weekend, coincidentally also against Blackpool.
