KARL Robinson believes Burton Albion are better than their position at the foot of Sky Bet League One suggests.
The Oxford United head coach takes his side to the Pirelli Stadium tomorrow to face the Brewers, who sacked boss Jake Buxton after Tuesday's 4-3 home defeat to Wigan Athletic.
Managerless Albion have won just two of their 21 league games this season and are six points from safety.
Keeping goals out has been their main problem, with 45 conceded - the most in the division.
But they have also found the net 27 times - two more than United's tally - and Robinson knows Burton have the personnel to punish any complacency from his side.
He said: “They’re playing better than their results suggest.
"They have good players, who have been unlucky and on the wrong end of some games.
"On any given day you’re going to see some results people see as a shock.
"They’re always going to be a good team.
"We’ll have to match their work ethic, as they’re very honest and they have goals in certain areas as well.
"They’ve got enough experience in their dressing room to soldier through."
