YOUNG Oxford United forwards Malachi Napa and Slavi Spasov have joined Woking on loan.

The pair are expected to be involved in the Vanarama National League side's home game against Solihull Moors tomorrow after completing their moves this week.

Napa, 21, has made one appearance for United's first team this season, coming on as a 74th-minute substitute against Chelsea Under 21s in the EFL Trophy.

It was his first game since August last year, when he broke his leg in the Carabao Cup tie with Peterborough United.

Spasov, now 18, played twice for the U's in 2018 and made history on debut that September.

The teenager became the club's youngest ever scorer at 16 years and 226 days when he netted a penalty in the 3-0 Checkatrade Trophy win over Fulham Under 21s.

United boss Karl Robinson hopes the pair will start tomorrow and believes it is a good opportunity for both players.

He told the club's official website: “Malachi missed a lot of last season through injury and needs games and with Slavi it’s another loan to a good club where we hope he scores goals and shows what we know he can do.”
