OXFORD United's spending on agents' fees fell by 16 per cent in the latest figures published by the Football Association.
Covering the last two transfer windows - February 1, 2019 to January 31, 2020 - the U's spent £135,075.
It went on 16 deals, both for new players such as Tariqe Fosu, Elliott Moore and Anthony Forde, and new contracts for the likes of Rob Dickie and James Henry.
The figure is their lowest for three years and they fell from the seventh biggest spenders in Sky Bet League One to the ninth.
Just over a third of the total spend in the division was at Sunderland, despite halving their spend from the previous 12 months, while at the other end of the spectrum Bolton Wanderers did not spend a penny.
