OXFORD United stepped up their Sky Bet League One play-off preparations with a 2-1 defeat at Reading.
Ben Woodburn, whose last game on loan from Liverpool was in October, put the visitors in front at the Royals' training ground in the third 30-minute period.
Simon Eastwood saved a penalty, but Charlie Adam and Danny Loader struck for the hosts.
The game was United's first against external opposition since their league campaign was suspended in March.
