OXFORD United will be backed by a sold out away allocation at Kenilworth Road on Saturday.

The last of the 1,032 tickets for the visit to Luton Town were snapped up this morning.

It ensures a seventh travelling contingent in excess of 1,000 across the 23 games in Sky Bet League One.

And it boosts United’s average away following this term to 848.

That is down slightly on the 922 from last season, but remains an impressive turnout for a side who did not claim three points on their travels until the 17th attempt – February’s 1-0 win at Blackpool.

Attendances for league games at the Kassam Stadium were also down, but only by 0.8 per cent.

United’s average gate was 7,315 this season, compared to 7,376 in the 2017/18 campaign.
