JOHN Mousinho is urging Oxford United to bounce back quickly when they take on Rochdale tonight.

The U’s nine-game unbeaten run came to an end in Saturday’s 2-0 defeat at Sky Bet League One’s bottom side Bradford City.

But captain Mousinho insists belief is still high and is backing United to deliver at the Kassam Stadium this evening.

He said: “We built up a lot of confidence after being in a low place.

“We know how to win games and we know what went wrong at the weekend.

“Having another game so quickly is the best thing that could have happened to us.

“We don’t have all week to dwell on it and we want to get going again.”

U’s winger Ricky Holmes (back) is still receiving treatment and is not fit.

While Rochdale manager Keith Hill has hinted at naming an unchanged team from his side’s win over Accrington Stanley on Saturday.
