A weekend of music and arts is set to captivate Hurley on May bank holiday weekend.

The event promises a variety of genres, including folk, jazz and classical music, along with art exhibitions and cream teas.

Featuring an enriching blend, the festival aims to appeal to all tastes.

Community members can secure their tickets by visiting www.hurleymusicarts.com.

Building on last year's successful Young Soloists Concert, the festival plans to offer some notable performances in unique settings.

The organiser, Jonathan Miall, shared his enthusiasm for the line-up: "We are very fortunate to have such a talented group of musicians and artists taking part in the Festival.

"The musicians are all looking forward to playing in the Hurley Church and Monks Barn which both offer amazing acoustics in outstanding settings."

Reverend Tom Etherton also expressed his delight in hosting the festival, noting its incredible value to the local community.

He said: "Music and art can bring so much joy into our lives and reaches out to people of all ages and backgrounds.

"I am really looking forward to celebrating and enjoying the Festival with others in our local community – everyone is welcome!"

The festival's schedule includes a Young Soloists concert, art displays accompanied by a jazz trio, and performances by Tamesis Chamber Choir and folk group, Papa Truck.
