They say they hoped to return the pub ‘to its former glory’ with pub partner Brewpoint.
Green Party city councillor Emily Kerr is among those who have tried out the reopened pub.
Ms Kerr was full of praise for the pub in a public post, describing the food as "amazing".

Food was amazing, and I went with a vegan friend who couldn’t believe she could eat everything on the menu for a change.

The renovation work involved stripping back the walls and clearing up the dirt.
The Oxford Blue has been vacant since June 2023. Last February, the property’s freehold, then currently let to brewers Wells and Co (Charles Wells Limited), was marketed by Savills for offers in excess of £1.2m.
