A care provider with 17 locations in Oxfordshire has been ranked in the top 20 care home groups in the UK.
The Orders of St John Care Trust has been recognised for its exceptional care, receiving the award from carehome.co.uk. based on reviews by its residents, their relatives and friends.

There are nearly 17,000 care homes across the UK, caring for approximately 500,000 people.
This includes more than 12,000 homes supporting older people aged 65 and over, with about half of these seniors covering the costs of their own care.
The remaining institutions take care of individuals with learning disabilities and mental health issues, largely funded by local authorities.
The UK population includes 11 million individuals aged 65 or older, which is equivalent to 19 per cent of the total population.
The demand for care homes is set to continue increasing as people are living longer.
