London’s social set headed to Bicester Village last week as the festive season officially began. VIPs, including Abbey Clancy and Eric Underwood, were invited to lunch at the newly opened Cecconi’s before enjoying an afternoon of Christmas shopping.

The village was alight with Christmas magic, featuring a striking star-spangled display crafted from paper by Wander Barcelona designers, as an ode to a starry night sky.

Guests enjoyed Cecconi’s new stylish setting and fresh taste of northern Italy whilst catching up ahead of the festive season.

A three-course lunch was served including an array of Italian delights from Burrata & Caponata and Meatballs with tomato and basil to Baked gnocchi with tomatoes and mozzarella and Salmon served with cannellini beans and scarola.

Following the lunch guests spent the afternoon Christmas shopping and exploring the village, enjoying the new outlets on offer including Jo Malone London, Charlotte Tilbury, Veuve Clicquot and Le Creuset pop-up.
