Here are the Oxfordshire road closures that will impact drivers this week.
Notes on how long delays are expected to last, and some extra information, have been added by National Highways.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.

Oxford
Oxford's motorists will have two road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
But both of them are only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures are due to start this week:
• M40, from 10pm April 26 to 5am April 27, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M40 southbound, junction 9 to junction 8, Lane closures for communication works.
• A34, from 8pm April 28 to 6am April 29, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 southbound, Peartree to Botley, Lane closure for emergency barrier repair.

South Oxfordshire
Drivers in and around South Oxfordshire will have 21 National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
And 13 of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.
All of these works are on both the M40 bar one on the A40.
• M40, from 9pm April 25 to 5am May 2, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M40 southboound, junction 9 to junction 8a, Lane closure for maintenance works.
• A40, from 9pm April 25 to 6am June 24, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M40 southbound, junction 7 to junction 1, mobile lane closure for white lining.
• M40, from 10pm April 26 to 5am April 27, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M40 southbound, junction 9 to junction 8, Lane closures for communication works.
• M40, from 9pm May 2 to 6am May 3, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M40 northbound, junction 7 to junction 8, Lane closure due to maintenance work.
• M40, from 9pm May 2 to 6am May 3, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M40 southbound, junction 9 to junction 8, Lane closure due to maintenance work.
• M40, from 9pm May 3 to 6am May 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M40 northbound, junction 8 to junction 9, Lane closures for maintenance work.
• M40, from 9pm May 3 to 6am May 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M40 southbound, junction 9 to junction 8, Lane closures for maintenance work.
• M40, from 9pm May 3 to 6am May 4, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M40 southbound, junction 6 to junction 4, Lane closures for maintenance work.
• M40, from 9pm May 3 to 6am May 4, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M40 northbound, junction 4 to junction 6, Lane closures for maintenance work.
• M40, from 9pm May 4 to 6am May 5, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M40 southbound, junction 7 to junction 6, Lane closure due to maintenance work.
• M40, from 9pm May 4 to 6am May 5, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M40 northbound, junction 5 to junction 7, Lane closures for maintenance work.
• M40, from 7pm May 5 to 7am May 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M40 northbound, junction 1 to junction 15, mobile lane closure for maintenance works.
• M40, from 7pm May 5 to 7am May 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M40 southbound, junction 15 to junction 1, mobile lane closure for maintenance works.
• M40, from 9pm May 5 to 6am May 6, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M40 southbound, junction 7 to junction 6, Lane closure due to maintenance work.
• M40, from 9pm May 5 to 6am May 6, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M40 northbound, junction 6 to junction 7, Lane closure due to maintenance work.
• M40, from 9pm May 6 to 6am May 7, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M40 southbound, junction 8 to junction 7, Lane closure due to maintenance work.
• M40, from 9pm May 6 to 6am May 7, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M40 northbound, junction 6 to junction 7, Lane closure due to maintenance work.
• M40, from 7pm May 9 to 7am May 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M40 southbound, junction 15 to junction 1, mobile lane closure for maintenance works.
• M40, from 7pm May 9 to 7am May 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M40 northbound, junction 1 to junction 15, mobile lane closure for maintenance works.
• M40, from 9pm May 9 to 6am May 10, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M40 southbound, junction 9 to junction 8, Lane closure due to maintenance work.
• M40, from 9pm May 9 to 6am May 10, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M40 northbound, junction 6 to junction 7, Lane closure due to maintenance work.
West Oxfordshire
West Oxfordshire's motorists will have two road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
But the news isn't too bad, with both of them only expected to cause slight delays, of less than 10 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures are due to start this week:
• M40, from 10pm April 27 to 5am April 28, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M40 northbound, junction 9 to junction 10, northbound, lane closure for maintenance works.
• M40, from 10pm April 27 to 5am April 28, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M40 southbound, junction 11 to junction 10, lane closure for maintenance works.
Vale of White Horse
The Vale of White Horse's motorists will have 11 road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
And two of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.
Most of these closures are on the A34, with one on the M4.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that three closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:
• A34, from 8pm March 21 to 6am May 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 southbound, Hinksey Hill, slip road and lane closures for Oxfordshire County Council works, diversion via National Highways network.
• A34, from 8pm March 22 2021 to 6am May 7 2022, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A34 northbound and southbound, Hinksey Hill, slip road and lane closures for technology works, diversion via Highways England and local authority network.
• A34, from 8pm March 14 to 6am May 21, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 southbound, West Ilsley to East Ilsley, Lane closure for drainage work.
And a further eight closures will begin over the next seven days:
• M4, from 9am April 27 to 5pm April 29, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 14 to 15, Daytime hard shoulder closure for barrier repairs.
• A34, from 8pm April 27 to 6am April 28, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A34 northbound, West Ilsley, carriageway closure between the slip roads for resurfacing, diversion via National Highways network.
• A34, from 8pm April 28 to 6am April 29, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 southbound, Peartree to Botley, Lane closure for emergency barrier repair.
• A34, from 8pm April 28 to 6am May 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 northbound, South Hinksey, slip road and lane closures for signage repairs, diversion via National Highways network.
• A34, from 8pm April 29 to 6am May 3, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 northbound, Milton to Marcham, Lane closures for drainage work.
• A34, from 8pm May 3 to 6am May 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 northbound, Milton, slip road and lane closures for drainage work, diversion via National Highways network.
• A34, from 8pm May 5 to 6am May 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 northbound, Chilton, slip road and lane closures for drainage work, diversion via National Highways network.
• A34, from 8pm May 9 to 6am May 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 northbound, West Ilsley, slip road and lane closures for drainage work, diversion via National Highways network.
Cherwell
Drivers in and around Cherwell will have 17 National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing a holdup of between 10 minutes and half an hour.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:
• M40, from 9pm April 24 to 6am April 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M40 northbound, junction 11 to junction 12, Lane closure for maintenance work.
• A43, from 9pm March 28 to 6am April 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A43 northbound and southbound, Cherwell services to Baynards Green roundabout, Lane closures due to survey works.
And a further 15 closures will begin over the next seven days:
• M40, from 9pm April 25 to 6am April 26, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M40 southbound, junction 11 to junction 10, Lane closure for maintenance works.
• M40, from 10pm April 26 to 5am April 27, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M40 northbound, junction 8 to junction 9, Lane closures for communication works.
• M40, from 10pm April 26 to 5am April 27, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M40 southbound, junction 9 to junction 8, Lane closures for communication works.
