BANBURY United will look to cement their place at the top of Southern League Premier Central when they travel to Biggleswade United.

The Puritans left it late to reach the summit after their 3-2 win against Hednesford Town in midweek.

Birthday boy Jack Stevens scored twice in the first 15 minutes, finishing calmly from inside the box, before finding the top corner from a free kick.

Hednesford pulled it back in the second half through George Cater and Ben Bailey.

Then came the late drama as Morgan Roberts scored a stoppage-time winner, sending them two points clear of Coalville Town.
