OXFORD MAGISTRATES’ COURT

JASON CHAMBERS, 38, of Acacia Avenue, Oxford, admitted driving at more than 40mph in a 40mph zone on the A41 Bicester on February 25. He was fined £450, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £45 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

MATTHEW COOK, 33, of Luker Avenue, Henley, was convicted of driving without third party insurance on Broadway, Didcot on December 28. He was fined £660, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

SOPHIE DURHAM, 31, of Pennycress Road, Oxford, admitted driving at 72mph in a 40mph zone on the A41 Bicester on March 4. She was fined £323, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £90. Her driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

JACOB EARL, 22, of Plover Drive, Oxford, was convicted of driving at 113mph in a 70mph zone on the A34 Harwell on March 20. He was fined £500, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £50 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

LESZEK JEDRZEJEWSKI, 44, of Lakefield Road, Oxford, admitted driving at more than 50mph in a 50mph zone on the A4142 Oxford on February 23. He was fined £120, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

MEVLAN KARAJ, 40, of New Road, Woodstock, admitted driving at 77mph in a 50mph zone on the A40 Oxford on March 17. He was fined £200, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

CRAIG McNULTY, 55, of Hutchcomb Road, North Hinksey, admitted driving without third party insurance on Botley Road, Oxford on March 24. He was fined £120, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was endorsed with six points.

MEHMED MEHMEDOV, 28, of Cowley Road, Oxford, was convicted of driving without third party insurance on Oxford Road, Kidlington on November 28. He was fined £660, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

LIBERTY SARGISON, 27, of Oakend Lea, North Moreton, admitted driving without third party insurance on Blackthorn Road, Didcot on November 19. She was fined £120, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £90. Her driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

BENJAMIN SISSON, 45, of Oxford Road, Frilford Heath, admitted driving at 107mph in a 70mph zone on the A34 Botley on February 17. He was fined £800, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £80 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

MARK BERESFORD, 58, of Oxford Road, Benson, admitted drink-driving on the A4074 Crowmarsh Gifford on April 11. He had 127mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mcg. He was made subject to a community order and as part of that, he must carry out unpaid work for 240 hours. He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £95 and court costs of £85. He was disqualified from driving for 31 months.

PATRICK KEENAN, 36, of Banbury Road, Oxford, admitted assault by beating a man on Wood Farm Road, Oxford on January 31. He also admitted failing to comply with supervision requirements imposed following release from a period of imprisonment. He was jailed for eight weeks and ordered to pay compensation of £130.

SHAUN MYLES, 30, of Moorbank, Oxford, admitted criminal damage in Oxford on April 17. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £85.

ANDREW BROWN, 59, of Rose Hill, Oxford, admitted breaching a domestic violence protection order on Rose Hill, Oxford on May 10. He was jailed for 14 days.

SARAH DOWLING, 42, of Portland Road, Milcombe, admitted drink-driving on Oxford Road, Banbury on April 12. She had 103mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mcg. She was fined £300, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £85. She was disqualified from driving for 24 months.

GEORGE KNIGHT, 74, of Drayton Road, Abingdon, admitted drink-driving on the A34 Tothill on April 12. He had 94mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mcg. He was made subject to a community order and as part of that must attend appointments with a responsible officer for a maximum of 10 days. He was fined £50, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £95 and court costs of £50. He was disqualified from driving for 24 months.

ROBERT ARMSTRONG, 33, of Bonners Mead, Benson, admitted sending an electronic communication which conveyed a threatening message in Harwell on August 28. He admitted the same offence on August 31. He was made subject to a community order and as part of that, must attend appointments with a responsible officer for a maximum of five days, and carry out unpaid work for 80 hours. He was also made subject to a restraining order and as part of that, must not contact the victim until May 12, 2023. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £95 and court costs of £85.

PETER SEXTON, 37, of Stowford Road, Headington, admitted breaching a non-molestation order in Abingdon on February 16. He admitted the same offence in Oxford on February 21. He also admitted harassment in Oxford between July 14 and September 15. He was jailed for six months and made subject to a restraining order, whereby he must not contact the victim until further order. He was ordered to pay compensation of £200.

ROBERT NEWITT, 34, of Hosker Close, Headington, admitted possession of cannabis on Rooks Lane, Thame on January 17. He admitted the same offence in Oxford on December 27. In total, he was fined £500, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £50 and court costs of £85.

PATRICK BRIERTON, 38, of Ascot Way, Bicester, admitted drug-driving on Launton Road, Bicester on October 30. He had 4.2mcg of cannabis in one litre of blood, above the legal limit of 2mcg. He also admitted driving without third party insurance. In total, he was fined £368, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £37 and court costs of £85. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months.

JUAN CLARKE, 29, of Park Road, Didcot, admitted failing to comply with supervision requirements following release from imprisonment. He was fined £100.
