A MAN has been arrested after gunshots were fired at a house.

Thames Valley Police were called to Sinclair Avenue in Banbury at 11.30pm on December 20.

CSI teams closed to the street to investigate after a group arrived in a car that looked like a VW Tiguan.

A number of shots were fired outside of a house but nobody was injured.

At the time, officers said it was 'concerning' but that they do not think there was danger to the public. 

On Friday a 35-year-old man from Birmingham was arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life. 

He has been released on conditional bail until March 12.
