POLICE have appealed for witnesses after a robbery, assault and thefts across Oxfordshire this week. 

Thames Valley Police have released four CCTV images of people who might have 'vital information'.

  1. Robbery in Summertown 

On Monday, investigators urged anybody who recognised these men, pictured above, to get in touch after a robbery in Summertown.

At around 3.40pm on August 1, two people broke into a shop on Banbury Road and threatened a member of staff, demanding money. 

They took a large number of phones on display before making a getaway - leaving the staff unharmed.

2. Shoplifters target department store 

Oxford Mail:

Brazen thieves walked off with perfumes worth £1,300 in their bags after a shoplifting spree in Debenhams. 

It happened between 2.50pm and 2.55pm on August 15 at the shop on Magdalen Street.

3. Thieves take pensioners bank card in Oxford 

Oxford Mail:

Thieves targeted an elderly woman when she was using a cash point in Oxford

The woman, who is 89, was using the ATM at the Sainsbury's Local on Banbury Road at 4.32pm on September 17 when a man started speaking to her. 

When she turned around, a second man took the bank card from the machine.

The card was then used in a pharmacy on Banbury Road and the ATM at the Lloyds Bank.

4. Man struck over the head at Sainsbury's queue 

Oxford Mail:

Police are looking for a man who repeatedly hit somebody over the head at Sainsbury’s.

At around 8.45pm on October 22, a man in his 20s got into an argument with another man in the queue at the supermarket on Park End Street.

He was struck over the head several times before he left the shop.
