AN EFFORT to create 500 lunch packs a day throughout this week received £5,000 from Arval UK.
The company sponsors the Swindon Wildcats, whose community group is working with Franklin's as well as schools and parish councils around Swindon to deliver this support plan.
Wildcats managing director Steve Nell said: "We’re absolutely blown away by the donation that Arval have made for the Kids Pack Scheme we’ve launched with Franklins. It is an amazingly generous act and we really appreciate their support.
"Arval UK are a long-standing supporter of the community in and around Swindon and they are a long-standing sponsor of the club. We cannot thank them enough for their very generous offer of support."
Both SWITC and Franklin’s Food are supporting Marcus Rashford MBE's campaign to feed children who use the free school meals scheme during the half term break.
To collect a free meal visit Franklin’s in The Crossing. The scheme is based on trust so no questions will be asked. Just request a kids pack upon collection and the transaction will be as discreet as possible.
