A WOMAN who attacked a police officer during a town centre crime spree has been handed a community order.
Sarah Robertson, of Southam Road, Banbury, admitted assault by beating of an emergency worker on the town's High Street on October 16 last year.
The attack took place while the officer was 'acting in the exercise of his functions as such a worker'.

The 33-year-old also admitted assaulting a woman and causing her actual bodily harm on the same day.
Robertson was made subject to a community order at Oxford Magistrates' Court.
She was told to complete 13 days of the Thinking Ahead for Women Groupwork accredited programme before March 3, 2022.
Robertson was also fined £80 and must pay compensation of £150.
