The closure notice states that ‘having reasonable grounds to suspect that the use of the premises has resulted, or (if the notice is not issued) is likely to soon result in nuisances to members of the public, or that there has been, or (if the notice is not issued) is likely to soon be, disorder near these premises associated with the use of these premises, and that the notice is necessary to prevent the nuisance or disorder from continuing, recurring or occurring’.
Access to the premises other than by a person who lives or owns the property is prohibited until 12:45pm on Saturday.
An application for a closure order will be made at Oxford Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
