A HALLOWEEN 'safari' will take over an Oxford neighbourhood for the holiday.
Parents in New Hinksey, who were behind a safari walk featuring hand-crafted exotic creatures, raised £2,500 in July for New Hinksey CofE Primary.
Now they are preparing a similar event for Halloween to help the school even further.
Ben Armstrong, one of the organisers, commented: "The summer's event was an incredible success, raising over £2,500, and we hope to replicate this while also discouraging trick or treating this year inline with government advice.

"The school has incurred significant costs due to the pandemic and we cannot hold events this term.
"We hope that the spooky safari will help alleviate some of this pressure."
People taking part in the safari, which will take place on Saturday, October 31, are encouraged to donate at localgiving.org/charity/newhinkseyschoolassociation
