A GIRL was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a bus.
The 14-year-old was walking on Sober Hall Avenue, Ingleby Barwick, near Stockton, early yesterday evening when she was involved in a collision with a single deck coach.
She suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle, where she remains whilst receiving treatment.
Police are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage of the incident, which happened at about 4.45pm on Monday, September 28, to come forward.
Anyone with information which could assist the investigation, is asked to contact PC Ian Stapley from the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit on the non-emergency number 101, quoting incident number 159243.
