2. Coppid Beech park and ride near Bracknell set for go ahead

CONTROVERSIAL plans for a new park and ride in between Bracknell and Wokingham are set to be given the green-light despite concerns from residents.

The 254 space park would be added near the London Road/Coppid Beech roundabout if applicants Wokingham Borough Council (WBC) get their way.

4. Traveller site in Finchampstead could be expanded

Bracknell News:

A traveller site in Finchampstead could be expanded in plans described as “inappropriate” by the local parish council.

The site – at land next to 166 Nine Mile Ride – currently has four caravan pitches and an additional four would be added if the plans are approved by Wokingham Borough Council (WBC).

A DEDICATED woman feels "shocked" to have exceeded her fundraising target for her best friend who is fighting terminal cancer.

Emma Claire from Bracknell felt inspired to help her closest friend Lisa Hepworth, after losing her mum to cancer when she was 23-years-old.
