A 17-YEAR-OLD boy was forced to bank transfer money in a ‘frightening’ knife-point robbery.

He was walking down Oxpens Road towards the train station when he was approached by two boys at 6.20pm on Wednesday. 

They forced him to send over the cash on his phone and one of them pulled out a weapon.

He wasn't hurt.

The first boy is white, around 16-years-old and 5ft 7ins tall.

He has dark hair and at the time was riding a BMX bike, potentially with an orange body.

The second boy is also white and between 16 to 18-years-old and around 5ft 10ins.

He has blonde hair and a medium build and was also riding a BMX bike.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Edward Horley, based at Oxford police station, said: “This was a frightening experience for the victim, who was alone at the time of the incident.

“I am appealing to anyone who has any information about this incident to come forward.”
