AFTER the death of a man involved in a car crash this week in Abingdon, Thames Valley Police are still continuing to appeal for witnesses.

Officers were called to Ock Street at around 9.30pm on Tuesday after a collision between a red BMW, black Vauxhall Insignia and a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, a man in his twenties, was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries where he sadly died. 

His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by officers. 

The drivers of the red BMW and the black Vauxhall were not injured.

A 20-year-old man from Abingdon has been charged in connection with the incident but police still need people to check their dash-cam footage to help with the investigation.

Investigating officer, Sergeant Darren Brown, of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “We are continuing to appeal for any witnesses to this collision, or anyone who has information, to please come forward.

 “Please check dash-cam footage in case it has captured something that could assist the investigation.
