CONSULTATION letters are landing on the doormats of residents in a village near Banbury as a request to create two new parish councils is examined.
A meeting of Cherwell District Council on May 20 agreed to set up a working group to examine a proposal to create a new parish council for West Adderbury.

This followed a petition from West Adderbury Residents Association and the plan would mean separating West Adderbury from the existing parish of Adderbury.
The consultation ends on August 28 and residents can respond online via www.cherwell.gov.uk/communitygovernance.
