Royal Mail is to cut 2,000 jobs in a huge reconstruction plan promoted by the coronavirus pandemic.
The cuts will reduce the number of UK management roles by almost half which are currently totalling 9,700.

Redundancies are intended to save £130m a year after the business struggled to adapt to changes caused by the coronavirus lockdown such as having more parcels and fewer letters to deliver.
