Scammers are targeting elderly and vulnerable people
A FRAUDSTER claiming to be a council worker tried to scam Banbury locals yesterday.
The male, approximately 40-50 years old, was offering to spray weed killer on residents' paths in the Broughton area and asking for money afterwards.
He was driving a flatbed lorry with bins on the back.

A Thames Valley Police spokesperson warned Banbury residents that this is a scam and added: "Do not accept services from anyone offering them on the doorstep.
"If you believe you may have information relating to this male, please call 101."
