MAGISTRATES handed out a suspended prison sentence after a Poole man admitted a string of offences.
Raduciu-Marian Toderica admitted assaulting a woman by beating her, drink driving, drug driving and driving without a licence.
The 33-year-old, of Churchill Road appeared before magistrates in Poole on Monday March 30.
He pleaded guilty to assaulting a woman in Poole on September 1 and to driving without a licence on the same date.
He also admitted driving with an alcohol limit of 49 - the legal limit is 35 - in Holdenhurst Road, Bournemouth on March 29 and exceeding the drug driving limit of cannabis on he same date.
He was given an eight-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, banned from driving for 12 months and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £122 and costs of £85.
