Wedding Photographer David Bostock from Banbury has gained international recognition after winning a competition.

Mr Bostock won a significant photography award with the Guild of Professional Photographers for his picture taken in Dorchester Abby near Wallingford.

The competition runs every month and it received around 13,500 entries during 2019 and Mr Bostock won overall image of the year for the wedding genre.

Lesley Thirsk, director of the Guild said: “I am both proud and delighted that David Bostock has achieved this recognition with their striking image.

“The judging is undertaken by a panel of internationally recognised experts from a variety of photographic backgrounds, so David quite rightly should be delighted with his extraordinary achievement.”
