A ROAD has been closed after a collision between a tractor and a car.
Police are on the scene in Vowels Lane, East Grisntead.
A Sussex Roads Police spokesman said: "The road is currently closed due to a collision with a tractor and car.
"Recovery is on scene however the road surface is very slippery due to fluid.
"We will provide an update when the location is re-opened.
"Thankfully there were no injuries."
The incident is reported to have happened at about 5.30pm.
An AA spokesman said: "The road is closed due to an accident involving two vehicles in Vowels Lane both ways from Selsfield Road to Kingscote Train Station.
"The road has been closed since about 5.30pm."
The road remained closed at 8.30pm.
