A WILTSHIRE man has appeared before Bristol Crown Court charged with the attempted murder of his partner.
Appearing via video link, Edward Rudd, 36, of no fixed address, spoke only to confirm his name and his not guilty plea.
It is alleged he attempted to kill his former partner in Melksham on December 11 last year.
Judge Julian Lambert remanded Rudd into custody for the trial, which will begin on May 18 and is expected to last for five days.
