A HARRY Potter wand and a questionable bundle of car ‘tools’ are up for grabs on the Thames Valley Police eBay page this week.

The force use the buying and selling website to flog old evidence and unclaimed items.

And after a short Christmas break, the page is back up and running, with 25 weird and wonderful things listed for sale.

Some of it has been stolen and then seized by officers in an investigation, or handed in at police stations.

The force hold the items for a while before making the decision to give them away, bin them or sell them.

The eBay page is where all of the selling pile ends up, and then the cash raised gets but into the Police Property Act Fund.

Money from that gets divvied up to good causes in Thames Valley.

The lots get put on the site at a starting price of 99p but buyers battle with bids.

There is one catch though, winners must collect everything in person the eBay HQ in Milton Keynes.

Here's some of the things that the police sold last year.
