A TRIAL was put on hold for a day after a juror broke her arm.

Eleven members of the jury turned up alongside the prosecution and defence teams for Andrew Bradley's trial.

Bradley, of Kingfishers, Grove, has been accused of driving up to 130mph, and driving dangerously on a rural road in southern Oxfordshire before crashing into a tree near Uffington's White Horse Hill and leaving two of his three passengers seriously injured.

Yesterday the trial was put on hold by Judge Daly at Oxford Crown Court after one of the jurors had ended up in hospital with a broken arm.

She had said that it happened to her often, and had told the courts that she would be back in to hear evidence today.

So that she didn't miss out on vital information, the trial was put on hold for the day and will continue today.
