A 54-YEAR-OLD man was targeted by two would-be robbers while he waited at a bus stop.
At around 4pm on Thursday, January 2, the victim was stood at the bus stop in Waylen Street, Reading, when he was approached by two unknown men, who demanded money and attempted to steal his phone.

They failed to do so, and left the scene in the direction of the town centre.
Nothing was stolen.
The first offender is described as a black man, around 5ft 8ins tall and medium build.
He was wearing a dark blue coat.
The second offender is described as a white man, around 5ft 10ins tall and slim.
He was wearing a thigh length khaki green puffer jacket.

Police are appealing for anyone with information about this incident or anyone who recognises the descriptions above to report by using the online form or by calling 101, quoting reference 43200001622.
