In the first a car started smoking near Welcome Break on junction 8A of the M40, the service writing it was 'great' staff had secured the area and brought a fire extinguisher to the car before the crew arrived.

The post also shared a picture of the second car fire, which took place on the A418 near Waterstock.

It said when firefighters arrived all four of car's occupants were out of the vehicle and no one was injured.
