A BANK could have a new ATM to stop long queues, if plans are approved by Oxford City Council.
Bosses at the Metro Bank also want to add hanging signs outside the unit on Queen Street so that the shop can be spotted from further away.
They complained of a 'noticeable lack of presence' compared to other shops nearby like M&S, Pizza Hut and Topshop which can all be recognised from further away because of the signs outside. Developers explained that the bank is open longer hours than other shops so signs would be beneficial.
They added: "The additional ATM is necessary to avoid queues at the existing facility, as well as relieving various other store services."
