Various stalls are on offer with refreshments and lunches being served, together with a guest appearance from Wolfie, the Warrington Wolves mascot.

WARRINGTON CREATIVE COLLECTIVES FAIR Grappenhall Heys Walled Garden, November 16, 11am to 4pm

Check out painting, jewellery, ceramics, textiles, mosaics, fused glass and more.

CHRISTMAS FAIR St Michael’s Parish Hall, Burtonwood, November 16, 1pm to 4pm

There will be cards, cakes, toys, raffle, decorations, tombola refreshments and look out for the arrival of Santa. Admission is 50p.

CHRISTMAS FAIR Risley Independent Methodist Church, Fearnhead Lane, November 16, 2pm to 4pm

There will Christmas bargains and refreshments on offer.

CHRISTMAS FAIR St Barnabas School, Collin Street, November 16, opening at 1pm.

There will be stalls for all the family including tombola, toy tombola, Christmas gifts and crafts and a bottle stall. Children will also be able to meet Santa.

CHRISTMAS FAIR St Margaret's School Hall, School Road, Orford, November 23, 10am to 12pm

Toiletry and jewellery stalls, a dedicated Christmas stall, cakes and a 'bottle-bola' plus the chance to win £100 in the grand draw. The Young Crescendos Choir will also be performing

STOCKTON HEATH CHRISTMAS LIGHTS SWITCH-ON Victoria Square, November 29, from 5.45pm

Children from St Thomas’ CE Primary School and Stockton Heath Primary School will begin the evening with carol singing followed by the countdown to the light switch-on by parish council chair Laurence Murphy.

CULCHETH CHRISTMAS MARKET DAY Village centre, November 30, 11am to 5pm.

Events will take place at the Methodist Church, Scout Centre, parish hall and Culcheth Centre with stalls to browse across the village. Visit Santa in his grotto, listen to bell ringers, sample festive food and mulled wine, enjoy children’s fairground rides, barrel organs and visit the police museum. The Christmas light switch-on is schedule for 4.30pm.

Santa will be in his grotto and there will also be a variety of stalls to browse.

CHRISTMAS FAYRE Hood Manor Community Centre, Raikes Close, November 30, 1.30pm to 4.30pm

Expect a tombola, raffle, gift ideas, jewellery and toy stalls all in aid of St Rocco’s Hospice.

CHRISTMAS MARKET Penketh Pool, November 30, 12pm to 5pm.

POP-UP FESTIVE STREET MARKET Time Square, Buttermarket Street and Market Gate, December 7 and 8

Around 60 stalls plus carol singers, live music and street performers. Hosted by Warrington Market

CHRISTMAS TREE FESTIVAL, St Mary’s Church Lymm, December 6 to 8

Live music and dozens of trees to look at throughout the day. Lunches at the weekend. Entry is free

LYMM DICKENSIAN DAY, Lymm village, December 14

Parade starts at 1pm in the centre of the village, stalls throughout the day
