A CHARITY rugby match will be played in memory of the fallen police officer Andrew Harper.

PC Harper, who was based in Oxfordshire, was killed after responding to reports of a burglary in Sulhamstead in August.

His funeral was held last month at Christ Church Cathedral and hundreds of people lined the streets to pay their respects.

In October almost 5,000 bikers rode through Oxfordshire to pay tribute to him.

Now a rugby match will be played in Maidenhead for him on November 20.

Cash will be raised for his family's chosen charity UK COPs, which looks after the family of fallen officers who have died on duty.
