Woman fined for theft from church
A WINCHESTER woman has been ordered to pay compensation after stealing a lamp from a church.
Kayleigh Jane Rolfe, of Longhouse Green, Winnall, admitted stealing the £20 lamp, belonging to St Lawrence Church, on May 17, as well as two begging offences – one in Winchester and one in Southampton.
Magistrates ordered the 33-year-old to pay £20 in compensation for the stolen lamp, and was fined £20 for the begging offences.
