HORTICULTURAL delights await visitors to Blenheim Palace this weekend as its annual flower show returns.

The Blenheim Palace Flower Show, opened by TV presenter George Clarke today, features more than 300 exhibitors located around a 20,000 square foot Grand Floral Pavilion, which is situated on the South Lawn of the palace. It will feature more than 30 floral displays and a large selection of flowers and plants from the UK’s finest plantsmen.

Visitors can enjoy garden talks with experts and enthusiasts, fabulous food and drink as well as an outdoor plant village.

Visitors can also pick the brains of the gardening experts in a series of gardening talks throughout the weekend. From relaxed Q&As with George and award-winning floral designer Mig Kimpton, to learning about plants and nature for wellbeing with Ellen Mary and how to grow your own veg with Geoff Hodge.

There will be a floral art competition showcasing the talent of creative floral designers, classes and live entertainment including music from Britain’s Got Talent’s Pippa Langhorne and Hollie-Blue Huntsman. There is also a Festival of Food and Drink, bars and shopping.

The show runs between 10am and 5pm today, tomorrow and Sunday.
