A MEMBER of the Labour Party has been suspended over alleged comments regarding its ongoing anti-Semitism row.

Peter Willsman, a member of the party in Oxford East and who sits on the party’s National Executive Committee, was recorded saying anti-Semitism complaints had been "whipped up" by the Israeli embassy. LBC said the comments were recorded in January during a meeting with American-Israeli author Tuvia Tenenbom in Oxford.

Earlier this week, the party expelled former spin doctor Alastair Campbell for voting Liberal Democrat in the recent EU elections.
