A COMMUNITY focussed family-friendly festival that aims to bring the student and non-student community together will be held next month.
Springtide, hosted by Oxford University’s student union at University Parks, will showcase local music, a miniature farm and world food and drink.
The free festival, on Sunday, May 5, also aims to encourage students to give something back to the city they call home, by donating their time and skills to help run it.

Some of the bands confirmed for the day include Pangolin and Lavender Boy and alongside a fully licensed bar, there will be specifically chosen food providers such as Frank’s Burgers and Vegan Ethiopian.
The festival starts at 11am.
