LONDON Marathon runners can travel to London for free on the big day this month thanks to a special offer from Chiltern Railways.
The train service is offering free travel to customers participating in the marathon on Sunday, April 28.

It will also operate two additional early morning services on the day.
These are:
Banbury to London Marylebone at 6.40am
Aylesbury to London Marylebone at 7am
David Heathfield, head of corporate affairs at Chiltern Railways, said: “The 2019 London Marathon is such an iconic event which raises so much money for great causes. That’s why at Chiltern Railways we’re putting on extra trains and more carriages to help spectators go to support their friends and family on the route.
"Our free travel for runners will help to get runners to the start line and tired legs home.”
