JORDANNE Whiley won her third singles title of the year when beating Momoko Ohtani in the Busan Open final.

The 26-year-old, who lives in Steventon, triumphed 6-4, 6-1 in South Korea.

Whiley, who only returned to international competition in January following the birth of her son, did not drop a set in the tournament.

The ten-time grand slam champion, ranked 32nd in the UNIQLO Wheelchair Tour standings, has now won 17 of her 18 singles matches in 2019.

She also won the doubles in Busan with compatriot Lucy Shuker.

They beat the Japanese pairing of Kanako Domori and Saki Takamuro 6-1, 6-1.
