A MAN from Wheatley has received a fake letter claiming he has won £420,000.
According to the letter, Mr Cherry, who is 89 years old, has won the money from the Health Lottery UK.
But he believes the letter is a fake as he does not enter the lottery.

He said: "I think they're sending these letters to elderly people making them think they have won money but it's really a lie."
He says the letter is very convincing as it includes the winning number, serial number, ticket number and the number to call to claim his money as well as the reference number to state.
"I called the number on the letter and the person who picked up said they would ring me back but that doesn't sound right to me."
Mr Cherry received the letter today and says people should be aware.
