A CONTRACTING business has gone bust leaving more than 100 staff without jobs.

FRP Advisory have confirmed that David Einig Contracting Ltd, based in Thame, went into administration on March 28, 2019.

A statement from FRP Advisory states: "David Shambrook and Geoff Rowley, director and partner at specialist business advisory firm FRP Advisory LLP, were appointed Joint Administrators of David Einig Contracting Limited and David Einig Plant Limited (“the Companies”) on 28th March 2019.

"The business has ceased trading with immediate effect, resulting in all 105 members of staff being made redundant. The Joint Administrators are working closely with the Redundancy Payments Service to ensure the best possible outcome for employees in this difficult period."

The contractor provided diggers and other machinery as well as tipper trucks. 

There have been rumours that the business owner, David Einig, has not been seen since.
